Clean & Safe Water
Working with local authorities and development partners to improve access to clean and safe water, including support for schools in Apac District.
Community Health
Providing basic first aid and working with Village Health Teams, while helping connect people with government health facilities when they need more specialised care.
Keeping Girls in School
Supporting girls who have been pushed out of formal education because of financial hardship, family circumstances or early pregnancy, and helping create pathways back to learning.
Youth Rehabilitation
Developing rehabilitation support for young people affected by drug use, with the aim of helping them regain stability, confidence and a path back into community life.
Caring for the Environment
Working with communities on tree planting, responsible waste disposal and practical action to protect the local environment.
Healthier Homes
Helping households improve everyday hygiene through toilets, bathing shelters, drainage, utensil drying racks and hand-washing facilities.
Building Livelihoods
Supporting practical income-generating activities including poultry, piggery, fish farming, rabbits and goat and sheep management.
Skills for Work
Providing practical skills training for women and young people, including hairdressing, horticulture, bricklaying, concrete work and liquid soap making, alongside awareness and action around gender-based violence.

For technical and skills-based training, NEYWODE works with the Management Institute of Science and Technology in Lira, bringing additional training capacity closer to the communities we serve.
